The objectives of this workshop are to strengthen the ADAPTO implementation team at the Universidad del Valle,\ and to identify and promote the development of new leadership. The workshop focused on diagnosing the team’s current situation, motivating team members, and generating new insights for individual commitment to teamwork. A reflexive workshop methodology was implemented, and the following activities were developed:

On April 2, the workshop "trabajo en equipo y liderazgo" (working in teams and leadership) was held to build capacity for the executive team. For this, a diagnosis showed the current reality of the project, forming a basis to develop strategies to manage and improve internal team challenges.

On the same day, the team led a dialogue with project promoters from the Universidad del Valle, the Municipal Administration, a private company, a social organization, and community members). The objectives of this discussion were to have participating institutions reflect on their role, to share project progress, and to create a shared leadership strategy.

On April 3, a community workshop was organized to identify local climate change adaptation initiatives.. The members of the ADAPTO team of Universidad del Valle facilitated the meeting based on a participatory approach, trying to involve the community in the definition of the problems related to climate change in their neighborhood as well as in the actions for their improvement.

On April 4, a workshop was held to identify local adaptation initiatives with the community of the Las Americas neighborhood in Yumbo, Cali. The workshop started by contextualizing the ADAPTO project and the scope of the Universidad del Valle within the urban park intervention project. In addition, ADAPTO shared the results of the meetings with project promoters and opened a space for the community to clarify any doubts related to the project.
